Brookside was called upon to provide waste disposal, odor control and site work services at this former oil-manufacturing facility on the East River. This 20 acre brownfield site is currently being remediated and redeveloped for residential use and parkland. Brookside’s OSHA-trained field crews and modern fleet of heavy equipment have been providing excavation and loading services of both hazardous and non-hazardous soil, backfilling, as well as removing underground storage tanks. In addition to these core services, Brookside provided a foam-based odor suppressant and a deodorizing mist system to meet a strict neighborhood air-monitoring program.
