Brookside completed several phases of work at this abandoned plant. Prior to demolition, Brookside decontaminated and removed the processing equipment, cleaned interior trenches, and removed residual wastes. Once building demolition began, Brookside undertook the transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous soils. Over the course of the project, Brookside loaded and disposed of over 25,000 tons of petroleum contaminated soil, PCB contaminated soil, and hazardous lead contaminated soil.
