Brookside has been providing site work and disposal services in numerous phases over the past two years at this former processing facility which sat vacant for years. It became an illegal landfill for cars, trucks, tires, pressure vessels, drums, and construction debris. Brookside’s field crew and heavy equipment carefully excavated and separated each waste stream, overpacked drums of various contents, decommissioned pressure vessels, and provided disposal services. Approximately 3,000 yards of concrete, metal, 2,000 tires, and C&D wastes were transported offsite for recycling. Currently, Brookside is providing test pit services to identify sub-surface structures and soil conditions all while operating an odor-control misting system to reduce VOC emissions and nuisance odors.
